AI in daily life

AI has pervasive reach in our daily life beyond recognition.

You forward a zoom invite on messenger app about a meeting with college counselor, you insta account on same phone floods with advertisement with college counseling services out there.

You raise a complaint against a software , a chatbot notes down the complaint, creates a ticket, emails you a thank you message and requests to follow up with the reference number. You record a video on videoblog about your new music skills and the email account starts showing musical instrument available on amazon or flipcart.

Our daily life is constantly monitored through AI, what we like to eat, music we hear, movies we watch, work we do and recreational things we do.

The purpose is to monitor the consumer trend and to market the product in most beneficial way. It all sounds very real, but there is no policing to draw the line between what is okay to be followed about user versus not-okay.

There are many documentaries for this issue. The browser provides a privacy tab, yet there is no privacy tab across a Smart phone where all the apps are fenced under a category of not to be intrusive. Can AI do that for us ?
